Summer is over...

Like dust in the wind...

Since the summer is over and I am back at school, I am in need to prepare for the benchmark 2 interview. It is interesting to see all of the artifacts that I have created over the years in my art and art education classes. I did have some complications with my computer, which crashed again. So I was forced to search my weebly and e-portfolio in order to find all of the artifacts that I need for the benchmark two interview. Over the summer and throughout my years at Stout I have had a lot of time to reflect on myself as an artist and art educator. I believe I have grown a great deal over the 3+ years that I have been a student. I remember when I first arrived I did not know any of the vocabulary and when people would talk in critiques I was lost. Soon after my first semester I started to research and look up the definition of the art vocabulary, which seemed to help a great deal. My work has grown especially in the manner of conceptualization. My artwork used to be copies of an image but they are now deeper in meaning and relevant.
